AARHUS CELLO EXPO 2025

Aarhus Cello Expo is back for 5 unforgettable days at the Aarhus Concert Hall,
taking place from June 5-9, 2025, during the Pentecost holiday.
​
Aarhus Cello Expo 2025 promises a rich experience with an array of world-class cello sounds.
As in previous years, participants will include children and young musicians from around the world.
The foundation of our event includes Suzuki method instruction, taught by the finest teachers from Finland, USA and Spain, as well as masterclasses led by Professor Henrik Brendstrup from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Aarhus.

Cellissimo, an extraordinary youth ensemble from Chicago, will be featured as a highlight. 
Cellissimo is a group of passionate young cellists who perform an ambitious program entirely from memory.
After a year of intensive preparation, they embark on a tour with their ultimate goal being Aarhus Cello Expo 2025.

Cellissimo will play a major role at this year's Expo: performing concerts across various venues in Aarhus and joining our own young cellists for the Expo’s grand finale concert in the Symphonic Hall at Musikhuset Aarhus.
We are also thrilled to welcome Maria Isabel Edlund, a talented young cellist from Aarhus,
​as the guest soloist with the ensemble.
